During the very first Tailgate Party we all shuffled inside for the game. Still craving Bison chip dip we pulled out the last box. Jeff Blackman grabbed a container and hurled it across the room, where it was intercepted in the face of our oldest club member. Fortunately he was a good sport!
During the 2008 season we were undefeated for the first four games. During one game we were chanting so loud that we had repeated noise violations from businesses – a spa in particular. But our bar loves us, and our chanting, so much that they said to keep on going and if they were fined, so be it!
In 2010 we hosted the Buffalo Sabres Road Crew with Buffalo themed foods. Coach Lindy Ruff, Rick Jeanerett, Kevin Sylvester and Darcy Regier were available for photos and meet ‘n greets. It was a sold out crowd with 300 in attendance.

Favorite item - 32 oz Molson, 10 medium wings
Favorite BBA Memory - In 2008 when the satellites for the game went down and it was a complete blackout. Some kid had a laptop, and we were able to find a radio station that was broadcasting the game and we played it through the Cheyenne Grille’s speakers via the computer. There was about a 5 second delay from when we heard what happened to when we realized if we scored or fumbled or what. Definite chaos but it was such a blast.
Favorite Bill of all time - Doug Flutie or Bruce Smith.
Buffalo Motto - ”At least we’ve got the Sabres…”

Growing up in Eastern NYS just north of Albany, I was faced with a variety of “local” teams that I could cheer. Locals shared allegiances with the Pats, NYG, NYJ or the Buffalo Bills. As early as I could remember the choice was an obvious one for me. The Bills just always seemed like the underdog and the forgotten team. The Bills needed my never ending loyalty and support. Over 30 years later, they are STILL the underdogs but I remain loyal to them every fall and winter Sunday cheering with all of my heart.
I got involved with the Bills Backers of Atlanta in the fall of 2009. I have been involved with other Bills Backers organizations in NYC, CT and Philly. You’ll see me cheering, laughing, crying or drinking away the blues (hopefully not in that order) during every Bills game at The Hudson Grille Midtown. I am a huge fan of roadtrips and if you are looking for a gameday travel partner I am “in”. If it isn’t too far we can bring the famous “Mallard RV”. My goal is to hit every stadium by the time I die. I have a lot of catching up to do to get to Pinto’s status but it’s good to have goals. Go Bills!!!
