KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Needing only to eke out a win, the Buffalo Bills wound up smashing a record.
A mistake-free Trent Edwards threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more and the Bills romped past Kansas City 54-31 Sunday, breaking a four-game losing streak while scoring more points than anyone ever scored before against the Chiefs.

• The Bills snapped their four-game losing streak in style, putting up the second-highest point total in team history (58 vs Dolphins, 1966) and highest on the road.
• Trent Edwards shook off his recent struggles to throw for 273 yards and two touchdowns, his first multi-TD game of the season. He also rushed for two TDs after entering game with one career rushing TD.
• The Bills’ 54 points are the most the Chiefs have allowed in franchise history.
