Commissioner Roger Goodell made it official by suspending Bills running back Marshawn Lynch for 3 games in the 2009 – 2010 season.
The suspension is the result of Lynch’s 2nd arrest within 12 months, for possession of a firearm in home state of California.
While Lynch will be suspended for the first three games of the season, there is some good news coming out of Buffalo. Fred Jackson the Bills other outstanding running back had failed to report to One Bills Drive for lack of a contract with Buffalo. That all changed Wednesday April 8th when Jackson returned to the OBD to begin working out with his team for the upcoming season.
2nd time pro-bowler left tackle Jason Peters is once again MIA, so far reports indicate that the divide between Peters and OBD on contract terms may be to wide to overcome. If that is the case, look for the Bills to trade Peters prior to the start of mandatory workouts and training camp.
